Russia, South Korea does not accept Korea with nuclear weapons

"South Korean President Moon Jae-in suggested that Russia play a more active role in bringing North Korea back to the negotiating table for denuclearization," the South Korean president's office said today. Russian President Vladimir Putin has insisted that Moscow never allowed Pyongyang to own nuclear weapons, Yonhap reported. Moon also explained to his counterparts about South Korea's policy, which pursued the denuclearization of Korea by all means, including negotiation and economic sanctions. Two Russian and South Korean leaders agreed to cooperate to promote the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula. Mr Putin and Mr Moon also agreed on improving economic and trade cooperation, particularly in the energy sector. The deal was made at a bilateral meeting at the G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany.
